Iveron Hawaiian Myrrh-streaming Icon Will Visit Both Cathedrals in San Francisco
The Iveron Hawaiian Myrrh-streaming Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos is coming to the San Francisco Bay Area on the weekend of May 2 and 3, 2015, which will include visits to both Cathedrals of the Western American Diocese located in San Francisco.
The Miraculous Icon will be at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross (located at 900 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Belmont, CA 94002) at 11:30 am on Saturday May 2 for a molebin to the Most Holy Theotokos and to give the faithful an opportunity to be anointed witht the holy myrrh. The schedule for the visitation of our Cathedrals is as follows:
1) Holy Virgin Cathedral of 6210 Geary Blvd., San Francisco, on Saturday May 2 for the All-night Vigil. Greeting of the Icon is scheduled for 5:50 pm.
2) Old Holy Virgin Cathedral of 864 Fulton Street, San Francisco, on Sunday May 3. Hours are at 9:00 am and Liturgy begins at 9:30 am.
